Chapter 13

After he stood up and bid farewell to the hosts and his friends, he left the guest house to board his private plane. He was going to return to his villa.

As soon as he arrived, a servant welcomed him home. To the servants, both Lediya and the asian woman were Boss's women. Coupled with the fact that Boss had not left them any clear instructions regarding the two, they did not dare to offend either.

"Where are they?"

"Miss Lediya is in the hall. Miss Anna is keeping her company. Miss Tang is in the backyard taking a stroll together with the young master."

"Okay. I got it."

Zhong Zhengdong went to the backyard first. There, he indeed saw Tang Xin Lian and her son chatting. Cheng Cheng looked very happy as he enthusiastically told his attentively listening mother about his day. The two of them were chatting so happily that it seemed that neither of them were affected by the events earlier.

Zhong Zhengdong observed them for a while before heading to the hall. Once he entered, he could hear the sounds of Lediya weeping. Anna was trying to comfort her without avail.

Once Lediya saw Zhong Zhengdong, she immediately leapt into his embrace. Gone was her face of despair, replaced by one of joy.

"Dong!" Lediya cried his nickname affectionately in his embrace. No longer did she act as wildly as before, but rather like a little birdie relying on someone; cute and helpless looking.

"What's wrong?"

"They are bullying me!"

"Oh? How did they bully you?"

"First, they tried to stop me from coming in, then they also tried to prevent me from going anywhere else! When have I ever suffered from such treatment?" Lediya whined with a face full of grief.

Zhong Zhengdong only raised his eyebrows in response. The servants who were accused by her stood silently by the wall, not showing any signs of anxiousness or distress at her complaints.

Anna observed the interesting show before her with a smile. In her mind, she was silently laughing at Leydia. Although Leydia is stunningly beautiful, she is actually a brainless moron. Boss only favoured her as one would a novel plaything. To think she would actually rely on Boss's favour to complain. She is clearly incapable of judging the situation properly. It seems like today would be the end of her relationship with Boss.

In truth, Leydia's relationship with Boss had long since ended. It was just that Boss has never been the type to specifically spell it out aloud. Boss would pamper whoever he likes whenever he likes. And anytime he stopped favouring someone, he would always give a generous gift as compensation. He would never treat the other party badly.

A smart woman would treasure the time that they are favoured. When they find out that they have fallen out of favour, quit while they are still ahead. They would never go up to his door to beg for a humiliation. At least then, she would still be able to preserve her dignity. Furthermore, she would also be able to receive a generous gift from him in the future and preserve an amicable relationship with him.

There was no sign of any displeasure on Zhong Zhengdong's face. However, to the subordinates that had always followed him, they could tell that Lediya was finished. The smile on Boss's face was different from normal. This smile did not reach his eyes.

Lediya naturally remained ignorant. Seeing that Zhong Zhengdong was not angry and even smiling, she felt calmer. In the beginning, she was afraid that the feelings Zhong Zhengdong had towards that Eastern woman would surpass that which he had towards her. Now, it seemed like all her worries were for nothing.

Zhong Zhengdong still cares for her. Now that she knows that her gamble has paid off, she starts complaining more unscrupulously.

"Tell me, why is it that that Eastern woman can stay in this villa but I can't? You love me the most right? I don't care. You must chase away that woman! I don't like her!"

Zhong Zhengdong did not answer her question. "You were so upset and cried because I had another woman?"

Lediya nodded her head. "Yes. I love you a lot. I don't want you to have other woman."

"Oh? What do you love about me?"

A sudden realization struck Lediya. So he went to find another woman on purpose to test her? What did she love about him? There were many things she loved about him!

She whined in his embrace like a spoilt little girl, with a voice full of affection. She described how she loved his loving and tender side, his witty remarks, his performance in bed-she loved everything about him.

Lediya is not only beautiful. She also has another major merit. When she whispers sweet words, her lively and flirtatious appearance is extraordinarily tempting. She can make it seem as if there is no heaven and earth. If she tells you that you are the best man under the skies, you would definitely be touched.

Her expression and tone gives her the ability to persuade others rather well. If someone else spoke the same sentence as her, they might not have any influencing effect. However, when Lediya spoke, there would always be this persuasive magical power.

This is also why the French magazines and media crowned her as 'the women whose eyes can speak'. The reason why Zhong Zhengdong would favour her for an entire year is also due to this reason.

Zhong Zhengdong wiped away the tears on her cheeks gently. "Lediya, since you love me so much, can you do something for me?" He whispered.

Lediya' watery eyes shone like a star. She nodded her head gently. Tilting her head upwards at a 45 degrees angle, she gazed at him affectionately.

"Of course. I am willing to do anything for you."

Zhong Zhengdong looked extremely happy. "This is great! Can you go to the backyard and repeat all the good things you said about me earlier to the woman there?"
